YOGA WITH ANJ
YOGA WITH ANJ
YOGA AND MEDITATION TEACHER
Welcome to Yoga With Anj
My inspiration to teach yoga came from witnessing the profound shift in my own
well being through a dedicated yoga and meditation practice spanning 20 years.
I attended my first yoga class at our local primary school at the young age of 13.
As a shy and anxious teenager with a busy mind, yoga became a valuable tool in
finding my steady footing and sense of presence in the world.
Yoga helps me to return back to that calm and centred place that is always
residing within us: our true nature. I want to help remind others that give so
much of themselves in their busy lives, to feel empowered to take care of
themselves.
When not on the mat, I am usually engrossed in meditation and anatomy books
and sharing quality time with my 2 beautiful daughters and husband. I also enjoy
a good espresso and a piece (or 2) of dark chocolate.
Throughout my 20 years of practice I hold multiple certificates in the yoga, mental health and wellness space
𑁍 Diploma in Yoga Teaching
𑁍 Certificate in Trauma Informed Yoga
𑁍 Professional Certificate in Yoga Nidra Facilitation
𑁍 Professional Certificate in Meditation Facilitation
𑁍 Certificate in Yoga for Mental Health
𑁍 I have been teaching professionally for 7 years, with my own practice spanning 20 years.

I believe ANYONE can practice yoga and meditation. My yoga classes are inclusive to all, no matter where you are on your yoga journey. I am passionate about teaching students from all walks of life, from beginners to experienced.
I guide my students through their practice with gentle encouragement and clear instructions to integrate one’s mind, body and breath. My classes provide both dynamic and challenging elements, as well as nourishing, slower postures and guided relaxation.
As a busy mother of two, I believe yoga and meditation is a priority as a precious act of self-care. Creating space to tend to our own needs and ensuring that we do what brings us joy, can have a profound and positive effect in other areas of our life.
My deepest intention is to create space to bring people together to connect to a sense of community
My yoga and mindfulness meditation is a part of my daily routine. It's embedded in who I am. Over the past 20 years (and more) my yoga and meditation practice has guided me through life. I am able to turn to these valuable practices when the world becomes challenging. It’s taught me how to be flexible, resilient and present with life, just as it is, no matter the circumstances.
